The RTM-100 series equipment was developed for the Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) process.
The basic equipment features a two-component head with a chamber mixer and a static mixer assembly, a trigger for triggering the injection operation, a resin pump with a batch counter and a slave catalyst pump, a solvent tank for cleaning the mixer set, and a set of hoses and an air distributor with a filter and air regulators. All of these components are mounted on a truck with a mast and arms.
The RTM-100R model includes a component recirculation system as a basic component, which keeps the materials in motion by sending them to the recirculation valve and back to the storage tank in a continuous process.
The RTM-100AUT model comes assembled in a double cabinet that separates the command and programming parts from the mechanical part of the equipment.
The equipment comprises the basic components of the series and includes a programmable logic controller and a two-line, sixteen-character liquid crystal display (LCD) that shows an alpha-numeric message with control variables.
The possibility of different injection schedules makes it possible to program the amount of material to be injected for different parts.
A pressure transducer in the resin line provides data that enables the reduction of the equipment's operating speed, avoiding injection pressure above the determined limit and resuming normal operation.
